The Goal

To implement and evaluate a comprehensive intervention that will affect environmental changes on the campus and in the community and reduce the incidence of alcohol related problems among college students.

SPARC's Community approach to addressing this issue includes collaboration with stakeholders both on and off campus. These stakeholders include but are not limited to the following: faculty, staff, students, law enforcement, business leaders/retailers, health professionals, public leaders, faith based leaders and landlords/apartment complex owners & managers.

1 drink = 12 ozs of beer = 4.5 ozs of wine = 1 oz of liquor

*Based on survey data from the Fall 2004 SPARC Student Web Survey
